Hopetown Girls School

Hopetown is a girls' school with a mission to grow a generation of Indian girls with a voice and spirit into positive, innovative people who will make a difference to the world we live in today. The culture of the school promotes positivity, satisfaction and camaraderie. Via programmes in the curriculum, diverse thinking, risk-taking, sharing opinions and sensitivity to human issues are intentionally created. Even if they dissent from public opinion, our girls are encouraged to think independently.

The culture claims the world is interconnected as well. The local community of Hopetown, the culture in which we live and the world at large will be influenced by whatever we could do. Our social awareness program is sensitive to our girls' passions. We urge them to pursue their hearts if they feel they want to investigate and meet the needs of disabled children or natural disaster-ridden regions or the educational needs of the deprived segments of society or animals and birds. For us, the most significant thing is that they contribute positively to a cause in which they believe.

Our learning curriculum supports our girls in an integrated way to discuss problems and subjects. With the goal of stimulating the comprehension of their topics, our senior students study their ISC and ICSE projects for all topics. We advise them to be frank and analytical and conscious of intellectual dishonesty. Our teachers are properly qualified to satisfy the criteria of the worldwide CISCE Board exams and best academic practises.

The growth of the arts and design is promoted by Hopetown. With a lively theatre community and an excellent orchestra, we have a very good performing arts heritage. Girls are introduced to fine art, sculpture, pottery, tapestry and weaving at a very early age and many go on to choose design as a profession. Our software for technology is very mature. Hopetown is a wifi school that promotes technology to be used in a meaningful way. The girls are cautiously educated to use social networking sites. We have a Cyber Crime squad that is trained by experts and conducts training sessions not only for the city of Hopetown but also for the surrounding colleges.
